Home Delivery Services (HDS) is seeking an experienced and driven Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team as we launch our brand-new Eastern Creek facility.

This is a rare opportunity to join HDS during a significant growth phase and play a key role in establishing and shaping our new Eastern Creek operation from day one.

This role is responsible for leading the overall warehouse operation across inbound, outbound, inventory, dispatch, labour planning, productivity, safety, and team performance. Working closely with operational leadership, you will help establish structure, drive operational excellence, and build a strong team culture in a fast-paced distribution environment.

  • Lead daily warehouse operations to ensure safe, efficient, and on-time performance across the site.
  • Manage and support Team Leaders and operational teams to drive productivity, accountability, and engagement.
  • Monitor operational performance, labour utilisation, and KPIs to ensure service and efficiency targets are achieved.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to support site growth and operational performance.
  • Ensure strong WHS compliance and champion a proactive safety culture.
  • Support workforce planning, onboarding, training, and team development.
  • Work closely with leadership to help establish operational standards, processes, and ways of working for the new site.

You are an experienced operations leader who knows how to run a high-performing warehouse operation while building strong teams and culture along the way.

You’ll ideally bring:

  • Experience leading warehouse or distribution centre operations within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong people leadership capability and experience managing frontline leaders.
  • A practical, solutions-focused approach with the ability to drive performance and accountability.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, labour management, and operational KPIs.
  • Sound knowledge of WHS requirements and safe work practices.
  • Experience with WMS and RF scanning systems.
  • Experience within a start-up, greenfield, or rapidly growing operation highly regarded.
