Home Delivery Service (HDS) – Jandakot Depot, WA

HDS is one of Australia’s fastest-growing cold storage logistics and home delivery providers, operating depots nationally and supporting major retail and consumer brands across the country. Our Jandakot depot is a fast-paced, operations-driven environment and we’re looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry/Administration Officer to join the team on a permanent part-time basis.
The Opportunity:
This is a role that sits at the heart of our depot’s daily operations, with a strong focus on data entry and general administration support. A key part of the role involves processing run sheets – collecting and accurately entering delivery data into our systems in a timely manner. Beyond data entry, you’ll assist the depot team with a range of day-to-day administration tasks. Key Responsibilities:
- Process run sheets by collecting and accurately entering delivery data into the system in a timely manner
- Check run sheets for completeness and accuracy, following up with drivers or supervisors where information is missing or unclear
- Maintain accurate records and filing of completed run sheets and related documentation
- Provide general administration support to the depot operations team including data reporting, correspondence, and document management
- Assist with the preparation of operational reports and basic data analysis to support depot management
- Liaise with drivers, operations staff, and depot management on a daily basis to ensure smooth information flow across the team
You’ll Bring:
- 2–4 years’ experience in a data entry or administration role, ideally within logistics, transport, or a similar operational environment
- Fast and accurate data entry skills with a high level of attention to detail – getting it right the first time matters in this role
- Comfortable working in a busy depot environment alongside drivers, warehouse, and operations staff
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, and comfortable learning new internal systems
- Organised, reliable, and able to work independently once settled in – this role has a consistent daily rhythm and suits someone who thrives on structure
- Good communication skills and a willingness to be a team player in a fast-moving operational setting
