About the Role
We are looking for a practical and reliable Installation Technician to join our growing projects team.
This role combines workshop assembly work with on-site installations across healthcare and commercial environments. You’ll work with specialised healthcare products and infrastructure solutions, supporting installations across the country.
No two days are the same — this role suits someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem solving and travel.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assembling specialised healthcare systems in our Prestons workshop
- Installing products and hardware on customer sites
- Troubleshooting and resolving installation issues
- Reading and interpreting installation drawings
- Working closely with Projects, Production and Operations teams
- Supporting transport and installation preparation
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety
- Travelling nationally when required
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Strong hands-on assembly and installation skills
- Experience in carpentry, fit-out, door hardware, locksmithing or similar trades
- Confident using tools and interpreting drawings
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Reliable, practical and safety focused
- Willingness to travel nationally
Desirable
- Experience working on commercial or healthcare projects
- Experience with access hardware or specialised installations
- Forklift, EWP or other relevant tickets
