We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Stores Assistant to join our Supply Chain team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, picking and distribution of materials so that both internal and external customers receive orders in full, on time and to specification.
Reporting to the Stores and Logistics Line Manager, you will contribute to day-to-day warehouse
operations while maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy and efficiency.

- Previous experience in a warehouse or stores environment preferred
- Strong computer skills essential
- You are 100% committed to ensure customers satisfaction
- Forklift License essential
- HR License desirable
- Strong attention to detail across stock handling and documentation
- You like working as part of a team, is a self-starter and do not need constant supervision
- Good organisational skills and ability to manage priorities
- You are pro-active and an excellent communicator
- You take accountability and will demonstrate Hidrive’s core values
About the Role
Key accountabilities for this role:
General:
- Stock receipting – check off inwards goods and record these as defined by the inwards goods
procedure.
- B/O, Shortage and QC controls to be checked and revised daily.
- Ensure customer returns are checked and returned to stock.
- Stocktakes done as per procedure.
- Housekeeping to be done in accordance with the Hidrive way.
Meet KPI targets Picking and packing:
- Shopping lists to be done as per timeline.
- Pick and pack of Site transfers, SG3 / SG4.
- Kan Ban system to be monitored as per procedures.
- 2 bin system done as required.
Computer requirements:
- Purchase order look up.
- Stock look up.
- Labelling and printing for locations and pick face.
- VLM stock control.
