Manufacturing Operations Assistant

Several Manufacturing Operations Assistant roles are available at Hidrive in Goulburn.

Join a motivated team and start your career in the metal trades/automotive industry. We have full time, permanent roles available on our morning shift for fabricators, accessories installers, pre-assembly work, powder coating, paint prepping and skinning.

Responsibilities may include

• Parts assembly work (cutting and shaping materials using saws, drills and grinders)
• Door hanging
• Panel repair
• Outer casing and door skin manufacturing
• Paint prep work
• Powder coating
• Accessories fitting
• Maintain our clean and new work environment
• Reading detailed factory drawings

Your skills & experience

• A trade qualification is advantageous but not essential; however, demonstrated experience in hands-on work will be highly regarded. We also welcome applications from candidates who have partially completed an apprenticeship
• Forklift license would be beneficial
• Ability to maintain efficient workflow and high standard of production
• A keen eye for detail and logical approach to problem solving
• Willingness to learn and become multi-skilled
• Strong team player
• Problem solving mindset
• Ability to maintain efficient workflow and a high standard of quality
