About the Role
The Key Account Manager is responsible for driving profitable sales growth across Hewitt’s retail grocery customers. This highly customer-facing role leads account strategy, builds strong retail partnerships, and delivers both strategic and operational outcomes aligned to commercial objectives. You will own day-to-day account management, using data, insights, and planning to grow Hewitt’s brands and categories. Working cross-functionally, you’ll ensure seamless execution across the business while delivering value for both Hewitt and its customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with key retail grocery customers
- Develop and execute customer and category growth plans
- Lead business reviews, joint planning, and customer presentations
- Manage forecasting, trade spend, and promotional performance
- Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver customer outcomes
About You
Bringing proven experience in FMCG key account management, you understand how to drive growth through strong retailer partnerships and data-led decision making. You combine commercial acumen with a structured approach to planning, using insights to deliver results.
With strong negotiation and communication skills, you confidently influence stakeholders and navigate complex environments. Highly organised and proactive, you thrive in fast-paced settings while managing competing priorities.
A collaborative mindset enables you to work effectively across teams while continuously identifying opportunities to improve performance and deliver both customer and business outcomes.
You Will Bring
- Experience in FMCG key account management within retail grocery
- Experience working with major Australian grocery retailers
- Strong commercial acumen with sound P&L understanding
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Relevant qualifications in business, commerce or a related field
