This is a varied and fast-paced role where no two days are the same. You’ll play an important part in delivering a great client experience, supporting internal teams, and helping clients understand the products and services we offer.

About the role

Reporting to the Client Services Manager, the Client Services Consultant is responsible for providing exceptional customer-first support across Heffron. You’ll also contribute to continuous improvement, new product and service initiatives, and broader business change activities.

Key responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Manage company-wide triage and inbound queries across phone, virtual, written and internal system-based communication channels.
  • Make outbound calls to follow up with prospective and existing clients regarding product and service opportunities.
  • Capture, and store data accurately across internal systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
  • Support cross-functional teams, including contributing to training support for future accountants through the graduate program.
  • Contribute to the development and rollout of new products and services, including client-centric recommendations and testing.
  • Apply your growing knowledge of SMSF, client needs and business operations to support internal teams in delivering quality service outcomes.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Previous experience in a customer service and/or administrative support role, ideally within a professional services environment.
  • A genuine commitment to providing timely, high-quality support to clients across a variety of channels.
  • Strong learning agility and the ability to thrive in a complex environment with multiple systems, specialised processes and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills, with the ability to focus on high-value work.
  • A high level of attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously through routine and administrative tasks.
  • Strong verbal, written and listening skills, with the confidence to empathise, influence and communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
