Purchasing Officer | Hedweld Engineering – Mount Thorley, NSW

Hedweld has been producing world leading products for the mining sector globally for over 40 years, known for our Trilift range of component handling equipment and our Safe-Away range of access systems.

We are currently seeking a Purchasing Officer to join our Purchasing and Store team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in within a supportive and forward-thinking business.

What You’ll Be Doing:

In this role, you will support purchasing, inventory and administrative functions including:

• Assisting with purchase order creation and supplier communication
• Updating and maintaining supplier and inventory data in our ERP system
• Coordinating freight bookings and dispatch support
• Helping to reconcile deliveries and follow up discrepancies
• Filing, document control and data entry support for the Purchasing and Stores team
• Contributing to stocktake processes and the accurate maintenance of inventory records

What We’re Looking For

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• A team player with good communication and time management
• Strong computer literacy – previous experience within purchasing or Store Administration
• Willingness to learn, take direction and work safely in a manufacturing environment
