What You’ll Be Doing
• Providing personal care such as showering, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Assisting with mobility and transfers using appropriate techniques and equipment Supporting clients with meals, feeding, and hydration
• Helping clients with dressing and maintaining their personal appearance
• Offering companionship and emotional support to promote client wellbeing
• Performing light housekeeping tasks including making beds, doing laundry, and maintaining a clean and safe environment
• Observing and reporting any changes in clients’ health or behavior
• Engaging clients in meaningful social and recreational activities to promote mental and emotional wellbeing
• Collaborating with nurses and allied health professionals to ensure quality care
What We’re Looking For
• Experience working with home care clients
• Community experience is an advantage
• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Aged Care or Disability) or equivalent
• A valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
• Must be willing to travel between client locations
• A current National Police Check, or willingness to obtain one
• Must have work rights in Australia
• A genuine passion for helping others and pride in delivering high-quality personal care services.
• Reliability, strong attention to detail, and a solid work ethic
• A desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our veteran clients
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
• Must have flexible day and evening availability
• Experience accompanying clients to appointments, social outings, and community activities is highly valued
• Ability to start ASAP is preferred
