Job Summary: BYD Service Manager/After-Sales Manager will promote and supervise the work of the parts department staff and coordinate with other departments and partners. Enable the department to operate efficiently. Complete various indicators and tasks assigned by the company.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide and supervise the work of after-sales service staff.
  • Ensure the after-sales department operates with high efficiency and profitability.
  • Develop customer management strategies and set business targets based on past performance and growth plans.
  • Determine the department’s budget based on historical data and future projections.
  • Identify staffing, facility, and resource needs to meet business goals.
  • Set objectives to improve customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Communicate department goals to staff and emphasize their role in achieving them.
  • Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed to meet targets.
  • Provide feedback and guidance to staff to ensure performance standards are met.
  • Lead the team to achieve departmental objectives.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Address customer complaints promptly.
  • Manage and improve customer and employee satisfaction, prioritizing customer satisfaction as the top focus.
  • Ensure workplace safety in the after-sales department.
  • Provide backup support during staff absences.
  • Collaborate with the parts manager to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Oversee the implementation of fair and transparent warranty and free maintenance policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by senior management.

Education & Training

  • Bachelor’s degree in automotive engineering or a related field.
  • Additional training in Business Management, Production Management, Leadership Development, Marketing, or Finance is highly desirable.

Experience

  • Minimum of 8 years in automotive repair or related industries.
  • At least 4 years in a management role.
  • Strong mechanical and automotive knowledge preferred.
  • Familiarity with BYD operations is an advantage.
