We are seeking a motivated After-Sales Manager to join our Pre‑Delivery Inspection (PDI) Centre team, who will oversee all aspects of our service operations, to optimize workflow and ensure compliance with BYD’s global service standards

Job Summary:

The After-Sales Service Manager will oversee all aspects of our service operations, from managing technicians and service advisors to optimizing workflow and ensuring compliance with BYD’s global service standards. This role is critical in maintaining our reputation for reliability, innovation, and outstanding after-sales support in the EV market. 

Job Responsibilities:

1. Leadership & Team Management:

  • Directly supervise and mentor a team of service advisors, technicians, and support staff.
  • Foster a high-performance culture through training, coaching, and performance evaluations.

2. Operational Excellence:

  • Oversee daily workshop operations, ensuring timely and accurate vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as labor efficiency, customer satisfaction scores (CSI), and repeat business rates.

3. Customer Satisfaction & Retention:

  • Maintain BYD’s premium service standards, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Develop strategies to enhance customer loyalty, including service promotions and maintenance packages.

4. Technical & Compliance Oversight:

  • Ensure all repairs meet BYD’s technical and safety standards, particularly for electric and hybrid vehicles.
  • Maintain compliance with local regulations, environmental policies, and OEM requirements.

5. Workshop & Inventory Management:

  • Optimize workflow to reduce turnaround times without compromising quality.
  • Coordinate with the parts department to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of diagnostic tools and equipment.

6. Financial & Business Growth:

  • Manage the service department’s budget, profitability, and cost control measures.
  • Analyze financial reports (labor sales, parts revenue, warranty claims) and implement strategies to maximize revenue.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling services, accessories, and extended warranties.

About You

  • Must have mechanical background and experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive service management
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • In-depth technical knowledge of automotive systems and repairs.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in using automotive service management software.
