Longreach Tourist Park is a key accommodation provider within Longreach, the home of Qantas Founder’s Museum, Stockman’s Hall of Fame, Outback Pioneers and Outback Aussie Tours, The Spirit of the Outback, Longreach Powerhouse and Historical Museum and the natural attractions of the Thomson River, Lochern National Park and Iningai Nature Reserve.
Longreach Tourist Park is a true outback experience, full of colourful characters promoting Longreach and the Queensland Outback. Longreach Tourist Park is located less than 2km from the centre of town and Longreach Historical Railway Station. Longreach Tourist Park offers a range of accommodation and facilities to suit every family.
We are currently looking for Tourist Park All Rounder (Single or Couple) to cover various functions at our park, including Front Office Reception, Housekeeping, and Grounds & Maintenance.
Both positions are Full -Time
Our ideal candidate has:
- Experience in the holiday park/hotel/hospitality industry in a similar role
- Reservation System Experience e.g., RMS preferable, although training will be provided for the successful applicant
- Customer Service Experience
- Hands on participation in the cleaning of all buildings and accommodation areas as directed by management
- Be able to work unsupervised, and as part of a team
- High level of communication and written skills
- Cash handling experience
- Broad level of computer literacy (Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent personal presentation with a friendly disposition
- Enjoys a varied role and is happy to assist as required.
You will be competent in the use of items such as:
- Ride on mowers
- Hedge trimmers
- Whipper snippers
- Chainsaws
- High powered hand tools.
- Have a willingness to carry out various tasks as required
- Available to be rostered over a 7-day rotating roster including weekends (days/times will vary each week)
- Be available for an immediate start
