About the Role
In this position, you will work with stakeholders to manage and prioritise our product backlog, ensuring alignment with our product vision and strategic goals. Acting as the customer proxy, you will engage with customers and industry representatives to ensure the product meets market needs and creates value. Additionally, you will help schedule and plan upcoming projects for effective execution in a scaled agile environment. This role is offered on a maximum-term basis of 1 year within BAU.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the management of incidents and service requests associated with the product, escalating critical issues in line with agreed processes.
- Work with the Scrum Master to ensure effective management of incidents and service requests by the team, driving performance against service level agreements.
- Identify opportunities for enhancement of the product to reduce common support issues and service requests
- Support regular communication with stakeholders by providing updates on progress, changes and issues through appropriate channel.
- Contributing to the Agile Community of Practice.
- Identify risks associated with the product backlog and escalate them in line with HAMBS’s risk management framework and Risk Appetite.
About You
- Experience in a similar role, specifically in product backlog management.
- Experience translating business and user requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria suitable for implementation.
- Ability to apply critical thinking to assess issues and contribute to effective problem solving.
- Strong interpersonal, relationship management and teamwork skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Desirable: knowledge of the Private Health Insurance industry.
