THE ROLE – McLaren Vale based – Dayshift and Nightshift available
We are looking for full time, experienced HC/MC Drivers to transport materials within our metro and regional operations. As one of our drivers you will be available Mon-Friday with plenty of Saturday work available.
We operate a modern fleet of various configurations from PBS twin steer truck and 6 axle dog tippers and A Double/triple road-trains tippers. Our team of professional drivers pride themselves on their safety performance and ability to work independently and problem solve on the job.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Safe operation of heavy vehicles including reporting all incidents and assessing risks
- Understand and adhere to National Heavy Vehicle legislation and WH&S Procedures
- Conduct daily pre-start checks and report all maintenance issues
- Comply with ongoing drug and alcohol screening and other site access requirements
- Represent Hallett Group in a professional manner to the general public, road users and customers
- Maintain vehicles to company standards
- Participate in toolbox meetings and ongoing training and development
QUALIFICATIONS | EXPERIENCE | CAPABILITIES
- Road Ranger experience (essential)
- Tipping experience
- Minimum licence requirements – HC unrestricted licence (essential)
- Competency in Basic Fatigue Management and Mass Management
