THE ROLE

Based in our Dry Creek office and reporting to the Sales Manager, you’ll be an experienced Account Manager with proven capability and industry knowledge across building and construction. You will proactively pursue new opportunities while developing and maintaining strong relationships with a diverse customer base to drive profitable growth. Confident communicating, presenting and negotiating at all levels, you’re results-driven and thrive in a fast-paced sales environment. You’ll also take pride in working autonomously, solving problems and delivering outstanding customer outcomes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Prepare accurate and timely quotations, ensuring all customer requirements are captured and processed in line with Hallett processes
  • Achieve agreed sales volume, revenue growth and margin targets
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer enquiries, requests and issue resolution
  • Partner with the internal sales team to maximise sales opportunities and deliver a seamless customer experience
  • Contribute to team performance through regular pipeline updates, planning and collaboration
  • Identify, qualify and pursue new business opportunities to grow market share and revenue
  • Promote Hallett products and services by understanding client objectives and recommending fit-for-purpose solutions
  • Represent the business at industry and trade events, building networks and generating leads
  • Provide reliable after-sales support and follow-up to build trust and long-term customer relationships
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across Sales and the broader Hallett Group
  • Demonstrate genuine commitment to safety by consistently displaying behaviours aligned with safe work practices

QUALIFICATIONS | EXPERIENCE | CAPABILITIES

  • Demonstrated experience in sale, account management or customer service
  • Demonstrated sales and budget management
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
  • Industry experience in construction materials or concrete sales (highly regarded)
  • Drivers licence
