Role Overview

- Work in a close-knit nursery management team, helping with plant sales enquiries, quote requests, and anything else to help the team run smoothly!
- A competitive hourly rate, negotiable part-time hours, and a mix of office time with some WFH is possible for the right candidate.
The Nursery Sales and Administration Officer plays a vital role in supporting the Nursery Management team. You’ll work in our CRM system (Pipedrive) and plant inventory system (Evergreen Connect) to manage plant sales enquiries, assess plant stock availability and suitability, prepare quotes, confirm timings, and manage the sales process through to order confirmation and growing. You’ll also assist the company and nursery management team in related sales and administration activities to keep things moving forward and running smoothly.
Key Skills, Experience and Qualifications
Essential
- A strong administration skill set developed from at least 5 years of experience
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office software in a PC environment, including Outlook, Calendar and Planner
- Experience using Microsoft Excel at a basic to intermediate level
- A current and valid Driver’s License
Desirable
- Knowledge of native plants and ecological vegetation classes (EVC’s)
- Experience working in a native plant nursery administration role
- Experience using Pipedrive CRM, and Evergreen Connect
- Experience with Xero Accounting Software
- First Aid Level II
