Description

We are seeking a full- time or part-time Accountant – Accounts Receivable to join our Finance team.  This role is pivotal in managing the receivable function and supporting the property finance department with accounting and administrative tasks. About the role

  • Manage accounts receivable processes, including daily receipting and reconciliation
  • Input and review invoices in Nexus/MRI systems, escalating disputes as needed
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and assist with month-end and year-end processes
  • Support rent roll activities and maintain accurate tenancy schedules
  • Assist with issuing outgoings, additional charges, and casual mall leasing tasks
  • Identify and implement process improvements within accounts receivable
  • Act as the point of contact for all AR matters relating to Property Finance
  • Provide support for entry of accounts payable invoices
  • Provide support for accounts payable data entry of invoices and set up of vendors
  • Provide support to Finance Managers and contribute to audit requirements

About you

  • Completed or currently studying towards a Diploma or Degree in Accounting
  • 2–3 years’ experience in accounts receivable, ideally within the property sector
  • Recent experience using MRI, Nexus or similar systems
  • Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical and problem-solving ability
  • A proactive, energetic, and self-motivated approach with a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively across teams

This role will be based either out of our Brisbane CBD Office, or Head Office in Double Bay, Sydney. Both our offices offer a modern and collaborative working environment designed to support both productivity and team connection.
