  • Strong working knowledge of Australian GST legislation and BAS preparation; demonstrated experience with NZ GST returns.
  • Proven experience with full-cycle AP and AR management, including complex multi-entity and multi-currency environments.
  • Solid understanding of import/export accounting including landed costs, customs duties, and foreign currency management.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., MYOB, Xero, Epicor, SAP Business One, or similar ERP systems).
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and data analysis.
  • Formal bookkeeping or accounting qualification (Certificate IV in Bookkeeping/Accounting, Diploma of Accounting, or equivalent) and/ or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Experience working across both Australian and New Zealand regulatory environments is highly desirable.
  • •Familiarity with manufacturing cost accounting, inventory valuation, project accounting and work-in-progress accounting.
  • Knowledge of trade finance instruments, customs brokerage processes, and Incoterms.

In addition to the above, you must be able to
