Without accurate and scannable barcodes, product owners cannot sell their products, retailers cannot stock them, and customers cannot buy them. Our Barcode Testing team plays a crucial role in the supply chain by assessing and verifying the compliance of product barcodes with GS1 standards. This ensures that product owners can be confident their products are uniquely identified across the supply chain and will scan correctly the first time, every time.
The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining high-quality standards and regulatory compliance, thereby enhancing operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Examples of your day-to-day activities include:
- Generate Barcode Verification reports for fully formed product samples, product labels, cartons, and artwork, assessing barcode compliance to GS1 standards.
- Capture product descriptions, weights, measurements, global product classifications, and other details required by the Barcode Testing module in D365.
- Capture images that will be used as thumbnail images on the barcode verification report.
- Capture images of the Country-of-Origin Label or any other regulatory images that may be required when available on the product.
- Provide support by assisting with the book-in/registration of products when required.
