Operations & Commercial Accountant

Summary Supported by a major private equity firm and the founding partner, Grove Juice is in a significant transition phase. With operations in QLD and NSW, we are seeking an ambitious accountant for our Operations and Commercial teams to help solidify all areas of financial reporting across this vertically integrated company.

The Candidate A commercially minded accountant to lead management reporting across the processing, selling and distribution arm of the business. This is a key role and is responsible for driving accurate, timely and insightful reporting coupled with ensuring company-wide adherence to accounting standards. You will be a courageous, curious and passionate person who is prepared to make tough decisions and challenge the status quo.

The Role

• Optimise financial systems and workflows to increase operational efficiency.
• Enhance financial governance and internal controls to guarantee reporting integrity.
• Drive end-to-end month-end closures and be a key contributor to all financial reporting cycles.
• Provide analysis and actionable commercial insights and act as a strategic business partner to supply, sales and operations teams.

Role Requirements

• CPA, CA or CIMA qualification.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in a similar role.
• High attention to detail with strong commercial acumen.
• Strong hands-on experience working with ERP systems including BI reporting.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability.
• A background in FMCG with cost accounting and operational reporting experience will be highly regarded.
