Position Overview:
The Project Administrator supports the successful delivery of projects by maintaining schedules, documentation and project controls. This role provides essential administrative, coordination, scheduling and reporting support to the Project Manager and broader project team, ensuring all project activities are executed efficiently, accurately and in alignment with organisational frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and monitor project plans, schedules, work hours, budgets and expenditures.
- Create and manage a project calendar to track key goals, milestones and deliverables.
- Assist in conducting strategic, compliance, operational, financial and reputational risk analysis.
- Support the coordination and quantification of labour, materials and time requirements for project planning.
- Maintain and coordinate supplier cost data, purchase orders and contract variations.
- Coordinate project related tasks and perform general duties outside the immediate scope of work as directed by your Supervisor.
- Provide administrative and coordination support to the project team as required.
- Ensure projects adhere to internal frameworks and that all documentation is accurately maintained.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Project Administrator in marine, engineering or project-based environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project – Basic level (task entry, dependencies, updates, Gantt navigation).
- Ability to obtain and hold a National Police Clearance to meet Defence site access requirements.
- White Card Construction Induction Card.
