About the Role:
We are currently seeking a collaborative and dedicated Part-time Secondary Arts Teacher to join our growing team at our Tarneit Campus. You will be part of the Arts faculty and will be primarily responsible for:
- Supporting the well-being and holistic development of each student in your care.
- Delivering engaging and creative Visual Arts lessons aligned with the Australian Curriculum through the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework using contemporary, evidence-based teaching practices.
- Fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity, artistic expression, and student participation.
- Assessing and monitoring student progress while providing meaningful feedback to support growth and achievement.
- Collaborating with colleagues and contributing positively to the wider school community and Visual Arts programme.
Selection Criteria
- VIT – Teacher’s registration to teach in Victoria
- Relevant Tertiary qualifications
- Experience in a similar role
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
- Commitment to student wellbeing and child safety
