We create moments of excitement and energy, giving our supporters a sense of belonging, a pride of place, and a reason to believe in us.

Our values guide everything we do: we’re Selfless in putting our community first, Trustworthy in building genuine relationships, Accountable for our performance and decisions, and Relentless in our pursuit of excellence.

About the Role

Reporting to the General Manager Community & Game Development, you’ll be at the heart of grassroots rugby league on the Gold Coast. From assisting with the Kinetic Titans Schools Competition to helping deliver our Leagueability program, no two days in this role look the same.

You’ll coordinate the weekly schools competition, gala days, and help deliver community activations in schools. If you love sport, love working with young people, and want a job where your work genuinely matters to the community… this is it.

This is a casual position with a rotating roster to meet business needs. Due to the nature of professional sport, weekend and evening work will be required throughout the season.

Key Responsibilities

As our Community Development Officer, your day-to-day will look like…

Schools Competition

  • Managing the logistics of the Titans Kinetic Schools Competition, including draws, results and ladders
  • Communicating with schools, venues, referees and sports trainers to keep the competition running smoothly
  • Ensuring all competition rules and player eligibility requirements meet NRL, QRL and QSSRL standards
  • Facilitating live streaming and managing any sponsorship servicing

Game Development

  • Delivering the League Stars Inspire Program in schools
  • Supporting school visits to grow participation and love of rugby league
  • Coordinating coaching clinics, skills sessions and school programs across the region

Community Programs & Activations

  • Supporting community activations at NRL/NRLW Game Days

NRL/NRLW Game Days

  • Running the Titans Teacher Ambassador Program and coordinating the annual appreciation event
  • Managing community donation requests and the allocation of club merchandise
  • Assisting with the Leagueability program and events, including attending training and gamedays

Above all, working in a sporting club means having the right attitude, being willing to get your hands dirty, and a genuine love of being part of the team.

About You

You bring a tertiary qualification in a sport or community services related field, along with proven experience working with children, parents, and teachers. You’re a natural communicator who’s as comfortable presenting a school program as you are coordinating a competition draw at 7pm on a Tuesday night.

You’ll also need a current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and Driver’s Licence for this position. Experience in rugby league or professional sport is a bonus. Your passion for community and energy to make a difference matters most.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Free Titans Annual Membership so you can experience the benefits firsthand and share them with your family
  • Reward & Recognition Programs – be celebrated through our STAR Awards and recognition initiatives
