Overview of the Role
GoGet Fleet Crew are responsible for performing simple maintenance on vehicles, and assisting members with any vehicle problems. The position is the “face” representing the GoGet brand, due to the visibility on the road. The employee is expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times by demonstrating commitment to company policies, service principles and treating all members and co-workers with respect.
The roster for this role is Tuesday-Saturday, so it’s important that you’re available to work on the weekend.
What you’ll need to do
- Perform simple maintenance and cleaning on our vehicles in Sydney
- Test, troubleshoot and change batteries, tyres and security unit equipment
- Ensure all GoGet vehicles are safe and ready for customers, including performing simple checks on brakes, dashboard warning lights, batteries, oil and coolant levels, tyre pressure levels and tyre tread and damage
- Take photos of damage and assess vehicles for road-worthiness
- Work from an on-line dispatch system in an efficient manner
Maintain a high standard of presentation for all vehicles including:
- Cleanliness inside and out
- Correct livery always in place
- Fix minor vehicle damage and fit basic new vehicle parts as required
- Moving/transporting vehicles between locations.
- Comply with WHS and all other GoGet policies to ensure your safety
Keep safety at top of mind at all times and adhere to all Safe Work instructions and policies.
About you and your experience
- Current Australian drivers license and good driving history
- Solid problem-solving ability
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
- Solid attention to detail
- Comfortable with technology and has basic computer skills
