About the role:
We are seeking a Research Analyst to support our Investment & Research Team in delivering high-quality agricultural investment research, analysis and insights that inform investment decisions and portfolio strategy.
This role is suited to someone looking to build capability in agricultural investment, commercial analysis and research within a fast-growing agribusiness platform.
In this role, you will:
- Conduct crop, regional and market research across Australian agriculture
- Prepare investment research summaries, evidence packs, charts and supporting analysis
- Support investment screening, due diligence and investment strategy development
- Assist with assumptions analysis including yield, price, cost, water and valuation inputs
- Maintain research systems, source registers, comparable transaction data and recurring research outputs
- Prepare first-draft investment and investor-facing materials for review
- Support development of GO.FARM’s investor research library and recurring reporting outputs
- Work closely with stakeholders across Investment & Research, Acquisitions, Development and broader business and farming teams
- Contribute to improving research processes, data use, mapping and structured analysis capabilities
- Undertake other duties as required
About you:
You are curious, analytical and commercially minded, with a genuine interest in Australian agriculture and agricultural investment.
To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:
- A degree in agriculture, agribusiness, finance, economics, commerce or a related field
- Strong data analysis capability, commercial judgement, and an interest in translating research into investment decisions
- A genuine interest in Australian agriculture, farmland investment and emerging market trends
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Exposure to GIS, mapping, AI tools or data analytics (desirable)

In addition, this role is offering
- Base salary between $85,000 – $95,000 per annum
- Short Term Incentive (STI) of up to 10% of your salary
