Your New Role

Based in our Sydney Office, this permanent full-time position is responsible for engaging with direct clients, understanding their travel needs, and providing tailored solutions to their post-reservation enquiries in order to meet and exceed sales targets. Your contributions will directly lead to business generation for the company.

What will you be doing?

  • Educate customers on Gfob products, destinations, and promotional activities.
  • Understand customer’s travel needs and provide them with product information to match their needs.
  • Handle inbound calls and answer email enquiries to generate and increase sales
  • Reach and exceed sales targets.
  • Build relationships and encourage brand loyalty through outbound calls and email communications.
  • Participate in a team roster to cover evenings shifts of 10:30 – 7:00 (one per month) and weekend shifts of 9:00 – 2:00 (one weekend day per month).

What are we looking for?

  • Minimum 12 months in a customer service, call-centre environment, preferably in travel.
  • Experience in reservations with a sales-focused mindset.
  • Proven exceptional experience meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong, confident communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers.
  • Customer-centric, results-oriented, team player with exceptional attention to detail.
  • A passion for travel and a good understanding of various destinations.
  • Flexibility to work outside standard business hours as required, including occasional evening and weekend shifts.
  • Full and permanent working rights in Australia (AU/NZ Citizen or PR only).
