Description

Glass Outlet is recognized Australia wide as a leader in the wholesale supply of glass, aluminium fencing, balustrading, aluminium screening, shower screens and accessories. Our depot is located at Kilburn.

A full-time position is now available for a motivated Warehouse Plus Storeperson to work in our production team.

Commencing immediately and working as part of a friendly team, you will be involved in all general day-to-day warehouse operations including (but not limited to):

• Ensuring all orders and transfers are picked, packed, and despatched efficiently and to standards and time

• Frames required.

• Receipting, unloading, checking, and storing of goods inwards – both local deliveries and imported container stock.

• Holding and maintaining a current Forklift licence (essential to role).

• Assistance in the Production / “value-add” departments – including glass coating and cut-to size Breeze Wire orders.

• Operating a pneumatic up-cut saw as per required sizes, colours, and product type procedures.

• Optimised picking of stock for cutting operations ensuring all company documentation is complete and correct.

• Quality control and wrapping of finished job-lots.

• Maintaining the pneumatic up-cut aluminium saws as per the service manual.

• Re-stocking and rotation of products.

• Assist with coordinating the receiving, despatch, handling, and storage of goods in and out of the warehouse and “Cut to Size” warehouse facilities.

• Assisting with general warehouse storeperson duties as required.

To be successful in the role, you should possess the following skills:

• Experience in a warehouse role with sound knowledge of the workings of a goods in/goods out distribution business

• Good communication skills having regard to interaction with warehouse/office staff and customers

• Possess a current forklift license
