As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Inventory Supervisor to lead inventory operations, maintain stock accuracy, support warehouse performance, and contribute to the ongoing success of our branch operations.

About the Role

The Inventory Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring inventory accuracy, efficient stock movement, and operational excellence across the warehouse.

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this position is responsible for supervising inventory team members, coordinating stock control activities, managing inventory processes, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

This is a permanent full-time afternoon shift position working Monday to Thursday, 12:00pm to 10:00pm, on a four-day working week, providing employees with an extended weekend every week.

Working closely with warehouse, logistics, and branch teams, the Inventory Supervisor is responsible for:

Leading and supporting inventory team members to achieve operational goals

Coordinating stock movements, replenishment activities, and inventory control processes

Managing cycle counts and stock investigations to maintain inventory accuracy

Monitoring inbound and outbound inventory activities and resolving discrepancies

Supporting warehouse efficiency, productivity, and customer service outcomes

Assisting with staff training, coaching, performance management, and team development

Maintaining safety, compliance, and housekeeping standards throughout the warehouse

This is a hands-on leadership role that directly contributes to stock integrity, operational performance, customer satisfaction, and overall branch success.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Control & Stock Accuracy

Oversee inventory operations and stock control processes

Coordinate stock cycle counts and inventory audits

Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions

Monitor stock movements, transfers, and replenishment activities

Maintain accurate inventory records and system integrity

Team Leadership & Development

Supervise, mentor, and support inventory team members

Assist with onboarding, training, and performance management activities

Allocate daily workloads and monitor team productivity

Promote a positive, safe, and high-performing team culture

Warehouse Operations

Monitor goods receivable activities from local and international suppliers

Support accurate dispatch and stock transfer processes

Coordinate stock storage, overflow locations, and inventory rotation

Assist with maintaining warehouse presentation and housekeeping standards

Continuous Improvement

Identify opportunities to improve inventory processes and warehouse efficiency

Support operational improvement initiatives and best practice procedures

Contribute ideas to enhance productivity, accuracy, and service levels

Safety & Compliance

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Promote workplace health and safety standards

Support Chain of Responsibility and warehouse compliance requirements

Maintain a safe working environment for all team members

About You

You will be a proactive and hands-on leader with experience in:

Inventory control and stock management

Warehousing, logistics, distribution, or manufacturing environments

Supervising and leading warehouse teams

Cycle counting, stock investigations, and inventory accuracy

Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory reporting

You enjoy leading teams, solving problems, improving processes, and delivering operational excellence.
