About the Role
The Commercial Pricing Analyst is a critical role within the business, responsible for driving pricing optimisation, commercial insight, and sales performance through data-led decision making.
You will work closely with Sales, Product, Supply Chain, and Finance, ensuring pricing is accurate, competitive, and aligned to business strategy, while supporting growth and margin improvement.
This role also provides exposure to project delivery and strategic initiatives, making it ideal for someone looking to step into a high-impact commercial role.
Key Responsibilities
Pricing & Commercial Management
• Develop and implement pricing strategies to improve revenue and margin performance
• Manage product and customer pricing structures, ensuring accuracy and consistency
• Monitor competitor pricing, market trends, and customer behaviour
• Identify opportunities to optimise pricing and reduce margin leakage
• Support pricing governance, discount frameworks, and approval processes
Commercial Analysis & Sales Support
• Analyse sales performance, pipeline, and conversion trends
• Provide insights to support targeting, upselling, and growth opportunities
• Build reporting and dashboards to improve commercial visibility
• Support specification pipeline value tracking and lead management
Projects & Continuous Improvement
• Support delivery of key business initiatives and projects
• Assist with process improvement and optimisation across pricing and reporting
• Contribute to building scalable systems and commercial discipline
• Assist in project management administration and progress tracking
About You
You are a commercially minded, data-driven professional who enjoys working across multiple stakeholders and turning data into actionable insights. You will bring:
• Experience in a Pricing Analyst, Commercial Analyst, or similar role
• Strong analytical capability with advanced Excel skills
• Ability to work with large data sets and generate meaningful insights
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills across Sales, Operations, and Finance
• High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and outcomes
Desirable
• Experience in manufacturing, wholesale, or construction-related industries
• Exposure to ERP systems, pricing systems, or inventory platforms
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Phocas or similar tools
• Understanding of pricing frameworks, rebates, or commercial governance
