About the Role

Based at our Virginia Branch, we are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. Working Monday to Friday, 6:15 am to 11:00 am, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee and beverages while delivering outstanding customer service to employees, trade customers, and members of the public. This is a hands-on customer-facing role where you’ll manage the day-to-day operation of our kiosk, maintain a clean and organised workspace, and help create a positive experience for every customer.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Beverage Preparation

• Prepare and serve high-quality hot and cold beverages.
• Take customer orders and process cash and EFTPOS payments.
• Deliver friendly, professional customer service to every customer.

Kiosk Operations

• Prepare the kiosk for daily opening and closing.
• Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic work environment.
• Monitor stock levels, complete weekly stocktakes and update inventory through SQUARE.
• Report any equipment maintenance requirements to management.

Team & Business Support

• Build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Contribute to an efficient and welcoming workplace.
• Always follow company policies and safe work practices.

About You

You are a friendly, reliable and customer-focused individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional service

You will ideally have:

• Previous barista experience.
• At least 12 months’ experience in a coffee service environment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• The ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude.
