The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Leading Hand to join our high-performing team based in Sydney, NSW. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on professional looking to step up and play a key role in delivering complex and impactful landscape and civil projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform all trade activities and liase with Foreperson/Site Manager on site activities
  • Support site supervision and manage coordination of small teams or subcontractors as a Leading Hand
  • Contribute to Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (HSEQ) compliance on site
  • Assist in monitoring construction programs to ensure works are delivered on time
  • Participate in tool-box meetings
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and site presentation

About You

  • Proven experience in landscape and/or civil construction
  • Strong knowledge of horticulture
  • Current Construction Induction (White) Card
  • Valid driver’s licence
  • ·       To take the initiative in solving problems and accelerating the completion of tasks relevant to the job
  • Ability to set out projects and lead by example with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
