Horticulture Team Leader

Yatala Depot | Brisbane & Northern Gold Coast

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Horticulture Team Leader to join our growing grounds maintenance team based out of our Yatala depot, servicing sites across Brisbane and the Northern Gold Coast.

About the Role

This role involves leading a small crew across a range of commercial and government maintenance contracts, ensuring all gardens and landscaped areas are maintained to a high standard. You’ll be working across varied sites, operating equipment, coordinating daily tasks, and helping deliver reliable and professional grounds maintenance services.

Daily duties include:

  • Lawn mowing and edging
  • Hedging and pruning
  • Whipper snipping
  • Weed spraying and control
  • General landscaping and garden maintenance
  • Operating and maintaining equipment safely
  • Leading and supervising a small team
  • Ensuring work is completed to a high standard and on schedule

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in horticulture, landscaping, or grounds maintenance
  • Previous team leader or supervisory experience preferred
  • Current White Card
  • Current Manual Driver’s Licence
  • Strong knowledge of garden and turf maintenance practices
  • Ability to work independently and lead by example
  • Reliable, hardworking, and safety focused attitude

Highly Regarded

  • ACDC Licence
  • Certificate III in Horticulture or similar qualification
