Grounds Maintenance

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Groundsperson to join our team working on a council maintenance contract.

This is a hands-on outdoor role suited to someone with experience in horticultural or grounds maintenance who takes pride in delivering quality work and maintaining public spaces to a high standard.

About the Role

• Garden and landscape maintenance
• Weed control and vegetation management
• Hedging and pruning
• Mowing, edging and brush cutting
• General grounds maintenance activities
• Safe operation and maintenance of equipment

About You

• Experience in horticultural, landscaping, grounds maintenance or a similar role
• Knowledge of plant maintenance and weed control practices
• Experience with hedging and pruning
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
• Current unrestricted driver’s licence

Qualifications

A horticultural qualification is desirable but not essential. Practical experience and a good understanding of grounds maintenance are the most important requirements for this role.
