At Gippsland Pest Management, we’re not your typical pest control company.
We’re a growing, family-owned business that services residential homes, schools, childcare centres, commercial facilities, government sites and high-compliance clients across Gippsland. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for the right person to help lead our office team and build the next chapter of our business.
This is a newly created role and a genuine leadership opportunity.
We’re looking for someone who loves bringing order to complexity, developing people, improving systems and helping a team perform at its best.
About the Role
As our Office Team Lead, you’ll become a key member of our leadership team and take ownership of the day-to-day coordination of our office.
You’ll work closely with our business owners, Key Accounts Coordinator, Finance & Executive Support Coordinator and Field Operations Lead to ensure our clients receive exceptional service and our team has the support they need to succeed.
This isn’t a role where you’ll spend your day buried in paperwork.
We’re looking for someone who can lead people, solve problems, improve processes and help us build a stronger, more scalable business.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Leading the Office Team
- Support, coach and develop office staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Creating a positive and accountable team culture
- Assist with the onboarding, induction and ongoing training of new team members.
- Running regular team check-ins and office meetings
Coordinating Daily Operations
- Overseeing office workflow and priorities
- Managing leave coverage and workload distribution
- Manage and resolve escalated client enquiries, ensuring timely and satisfactory outcomes.
- Helping ensure smooth communication between office and field teams
Improving Systems & Processes
- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency
- Helping document and streamline workflows
- Supporting implementation of new systems and technology
- Reducing reliance on knowledge held in individual team members’ heads
Supporting Business Growth
- Working closely with leadership on business improvement projects
- Helping prepare the office team for future growth
- Assisting with recruitment and onboarding as the business expands
About You

Experience in service-based industries such as trades, maintenance, facilities management, logistics or similar environments will be highly regarded.
Experience in developing and documenting standardised operating procedures (SOPs).
