about 200 staff, GEGAC is a Not-for-Profit organisation that delivers holistic
services in the areas of Primary Health, Social Services, Elders &
Disability and Early Childhood Education.

Position Purpose
The Executive Administration
Receptionist is responsible for providing professional front-of-house reception
and administrative support services within Executive Administration Services.
The role supports the
Executive Offices through management of incoming telephone enquiries, greeting
visitors and stakeholders, coordinating front-of-house engagement, and
supporting day-to-day Executive Administration operational activities.
The position is responsible
for maintaining a professional, organised, welcoming, and culturally safe
Executive reception environment and acts as a key first point of contact for
Executive Administration Services.
CORE FUNCTION
The Executive Administration
Receptionist is responsible for:
• Executive reception and front-of-house services
• Answering and directing incoming telephone enquiries
• Greeting visitors, stakeholders, and community members
• Supporting Executive Administration operational workflow
• Managing Executive reception enquiries and visitor
coordination
• Providing general Executive Administration support
• Maintaining professional presentation of Executive
reception areas
The Executive Administration
Receptionist provides professional, welcoming, and culturally safe reception
and front-of-house support services that strengthen Executive Office
operations, stakeholder engagement, and coordinated Executive Administration Services
across GEGAC.
Key Selection Criteria
·Demonstrated experience in reception, customer
service, or administration environments.
·Strong verbal communication and
interpersonal skills.
·Ability to engage professionally and
respectfully with stakeholders and community members.
·Strong organisational and time management
capability.
·Ability to maintain confidentiality and
professionalism.
·Basic administrative and computer
skills including Microsoft Office.
·Ability to work effectively within a
team environment.
Qualifications and Registrations
Requirement (Essential or Desirable).
·Valid Victorian driver’s licence ESSENTIAL
·Experience within Aboriginal Community
Controlled Organisations, health, government, or community services sectors DESIRABLE
·A satisfactory Working with Children
Check and Fit2Work Police Check ESSENTIAL
·A person of Aboriginal and or Torres Strait Islander
background DESIRABLE
·Proof of COVID-19 vaccinated to align with GEGAC
requirements ESSENTIAL
·Understanding of culturally safe and community-controlled
organisational practice DESIRABLE
·Experience supporting Executive or professional office
environments DESIRABLE
