About the Role
We are looking for a hybrid Studio Traffic Manager & Finished Artist to join our Melbourne team.
This role sits with our Creative & Production team, responsible for ensuring work flows seamlessly through the studio while producing high-quality, production-ready artwork. It combines studio traffic management, resource planning and scheduling with hands-on finished art across print and digital.
You’ll work closely with creative, client management and production teams to bring ideas to life, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, to the highest standard and on time.
The role involves working across a diverse range of sport and entertainment projects, from campaigns and activations through to large-scale brand executions.
What You’ll Do
Studio Traffic & Workflow Management
- Allocate and traffic resources across projects, matching priorities, deadlines and skillsets, ensuring work flows smoothly through the studio
- Coordinate campaign briefings, internal reviews and project timelines
- Work with Client Management to define campaign deliverables, timings and approvals
- Develop & manage campaign project timelines
- Support weekly WIP meetings and ensure design team has clarity on all deliverables
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of studio timesheets
Finished Art & Production
- Create and deliver production-ready artwork across print and digital formats
- Pre-flight artwork to ensure accuracy (colour, specs, bleed, file setup)
- Adapt and roll out master creative across multiple formats (OOH, digital, print, presentations, eDMs)
- Maintain high standards of craft and ensure all outputs align with brand guidelines
- Liaise with designers and account teams to interpret briefs and deliver work to deadline
Financial Management & Estimating
- Generate estimates and source supplier quotes for print jobs
- Manage budgets, head hours and job profitability
- Support billing processes, including POs, invoicing and job cost tracking
Vendor & Supplier Management
- Brief and manage external suppliers (printers, developers, illustrators)
- Coordinate freelancers including negotiating fees and timelines
File Management & Dispatch
- Manage job folders, file structures and version control across the studio
- Coordinate final dispatch of all creative across print and digital
- Ensure best practice in file naming, archiving and asset management
- Manage image licensing, usage rights and job closure processes
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Support the ongoing development of studio processes, templates and systems
- Support designers and freelancers with workflow and artworking best practice
- Contribute to internal marketing, award submissions and new business materials
About You
Experience
- 3–4 years’ experience in a studio traffic management and/or finished art role
- Experience working in an agency or studio environment highly regarded
- Strong background in finished art across print and digital production
- Experience managing workflows, resourcing and production timelines
- Exposure to estimating, budgeting and supplier management
- Interest in sport, entertainment or sponsorship advantageous
Skills
- Strong Adobe Creative Cloud skills (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop essential)
- Strong understanding of print and digital workflows
- Knowledge of file formats and specifications
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Strong organisational, time management and prioritisation skills
- Confident working across Microsoft Office (Powerpoint, Excel, Word)
