About the Role
As a Brand Ambassador, you will play a vital role in delivering dynamic product training to retail staff, ensuring impeccable merchandising standards, and creating impactful in-store displays to maximise brand visibility. Serving as a passionate advocate for the brand, you will build strong relationships with retail teams and customers, driving
engagement and sales. Additionally, you will support product launches, secure premium display opportunities, and provide comprehensive reports on store visits, including valuable insights on competitors and market trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Review weekly compliance reports on merchandising activity across stores
- Identify and communicate trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement
- Create data-driven presentations for senior management on pricing, product performance, and competitive landscape
- Ensure in-store customer engagement activities are executed effectively
- Collaborate with marketing teams and third-party agencies to deliver in-store projects and campaigns
- Confidently present training to groups of various sizes, ensuring attendees feel informed, inspired, and empowered to promote the brand effectively.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retail staff to foster brand advocacy and maximise sales opportunities.
- Provide actionable insights from store visits, including feedback, competitor activity, and emerging retail trends.
- Support product launches through live demonstrations, customer engagement, and installation setups, with availability on weekdays and occasional weekends.
- Follow and implement planograms, which outline the ideal placement of products on shelves to optimise sales and compliance.
- Make necessary shelf adjustments, stock placements, and ticketing updates in line with planogram requirements.
Skills and Experience
- Background in retail, sales, or brand representation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A professional and confident manner with a proactive approach
- Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously
- Previous experience in the hardware or retail sector highly regarded
- Physically fit – this role involves store visits and may include light product handling
- Advanced computer skills on MS Office
- High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
- Ability to build rapport and develop long term relationships
- Well-developed commercial skills, preferably supported by some evidence of business success
Key Requirements
- Current Australian driver’s license
- Reliable vehicle
- Smartphone for reporting and communication
- Flexibility to travel locally between retail locations
