Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Team Leader to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of warehouse workers, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage a team of warehouse workers, including scheduling, training, and performance management
- Ensure that all warehouse operations are completed in a timely and efficient manner, including receiving, storing, and shipping products
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure that all products are properly labeled and stored
- Ensure that all safety protocols are followed and that the warehouse is kept clean and organized
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all orders are fulfilled accurately and on time
- Identify areas for improvement and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
- Communicate regularly with management to provide updates on warehouse operations and identify any issues or concerns
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse management or a related field
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory management best practices
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks
