Description

Summary:

The HR Advisor position will capture a range of responsibilities that are critical for the smooth operations of FTI Group’s People and Culture function.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all pre-employment screening activities, ensuring compliance and record-keeping practices align with FTI Group’s governance framework.
  • Administer programs across all Groups and locations, including the coordination of workshops, training sessions, and engagement activities.
  • Develop and enhance FTI Group training materials to cater to diverse learning styles, maximising participant engagement and learning outcomes.
  • Review evaluations and assess the effectiveness of learning outcomes within the workplace, providing recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Assist in the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of employee retention initiatives and projects.
  • Coordinate and deliver comprehensive induction and onboarding programs across all states and business units
  • Support the ongoing administration and maintenance of FTI Group’s HSEQ policies, procedures, and systems to ensure compliance with legislative requirements, industry standards, and best practice.
  • Maintain document compliance, including licences, certifications, and training records.
  • Support the development, review, and implementation of safe systems.
  • Assist with implementation, maintenance, and auditing of FT Group Safety Management System.
  • Report on health and safety activities, compliance performance, incidents and identified areas of non-compliance.
  • Monitor the recording and investigation of near misses, incidents, and hazards.

    Qualifications:

  • Business Degree (Human Resources or similar)
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (preferred not essential)
  • Strong understanding of employment legislation and HR best practices.
  • Pragmatic, proactive and focused approach
  • Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work well within a team and autonomously
  • Reliability to meet deadlines and produce high standards or work
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
