Casual Early Childhood Educators ~ Froebel Alexandria

We are looking for enthusiastic and committed Casual Educators to join our Froebel Alexandria team!

Froebel Alexandria is one of 5 early learning services run by the not-for-profit provider Froebel Australia. Our boutique centre caters for just 44 children from 6 months to 5 years, offering warm, creative indoor environments and a 80m² learning garden. Our educational program is built on immersive language learning (with German as a second language), inquiry-based learning through the award-winning Little Scientists program, and regular excursions that connect us deeply to our local community.

We need you to

• be a Certificate III qualified Early Childhood Educator (or currently working towards). We welcome applications from higher qualified candidates if open to working in a Certificate III level casual capacity.
• ideally have 6 months minimum experience in an Australian ELC environment
• be able to communicate effectively with colleagues, families and community members
• be flexible with your working hours
• have a keen interest in immersive language learning (German language skills would be a plus but aren’t a must) and inquiry-based learning
• have an understanding of contemporary child safe practices
• last but definitely not least: have a sunny personality with a positive mindset!
