About the Role
We are seeking experienced and motivated Trainer & Assessors – Education Support with a strong focus on industry engagement and employer partnerships to deliver high-quality workplace-based training across Certificate III and Cert IV programs in Education Support.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in onsite/hybrid delivery, enjoys working closely with apprentices and trainees, and values building trusted, long-term relationships with schools. You will play a visible, hands-on role in supporting learners and employers, ensuring training delivery is compliant, practical, and aligned to real workplace needs.
Key Responsibilities
Training & Assessment
- Deliver high-quality face-to-face training and assessment
- At times conduct onsite workplace observations and assessments in schools
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and academic support to apprentices and trainees
- Ensure all training and assessment practices meet ASQA, RTO, and apprenticeship/traineeship requirements
- Maintain accurate, compliant student and employer documentation
Industry Engagement & Employer Partnerships
- Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with early learning centres, schools, and employers
- Act as a key point of contact for apprenticeship and traineeship partners
- Conduct regular site visits to support learner progress and employer engagement
- Support the growth of workplace-based training through ongoing industry relationships
- Represent the organisation professionally across industry and community settings
About You
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent)
- Vocational competency in Education Support
- Demonstrated experience delivering face-to-face training and assessment
- Experience working with apprenticeships and traineeships
- Strong understanding of workplace-based training and employer engagement
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work autonomously and manage regular travel
- Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
Desirable (but not essential)
- Experience supporting school-based, apprenticeship, or workplace delivery models
- Knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and relevant compliance standards
- Experience working closely with employers in regulated training environments
