About the Role

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join the Finance Team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices and payments, maintaining creditor accounts, resolving account enquiries, and supporting month- end finance activities. If you’re organised, proactive, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you.

This is a full-time permanent role, working Monday to Friday with an opportunity to work from home on Monday, Thursday and Friday.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Processing supplier invoices and ensuring payments are made accurately and on time.
  • Maintaining creditor accounts, including setting up new suppliers.
  • Processing weekly EFT payment runs and supplier refunds.
  • Managing corporate credit card reconciliations and processing approved expenses.
  • Reviewing and reconciling supplier statements and creditor balances.
  • Monitoring aged creditor accounts and ensuring payments are made in line with agreed terms.
  • Actioning emails in relevant mailboxes within 48 hours.
  • Supporting month- end finance activities and reporting requirements.
  • Assisting with general finance and administrative duties as required.

What We’re Looking For

  • Diploma in Accounting or working towards/completed Accounting degree.
  • Solid understanding of month-end processes and financial reporting.
  • Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer-focused and comfortable liaising with diverse stakeholders.
  • Team player with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word (intermediate to advanced).
