About the Role

As the Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in growing Fork Force’s customer base and strengthening existing partnerships. This is a relationship-driven sales role suited to someone who enjoys being in front of customers, understanding their challenges, identifying opportunities, and delivering solutions that support the continued growth of the business.

You will have the opportunity to develop new business, manage key relationships, and capitalise on a massive existing customer database, with strong earning potential for those who deliver results. You will also negotiate commercial opportunities and work closely with internal teams to deliver outcomes for customers.

Key Responsibilities

•Identify and develop new business opportunities.

•Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.

•Create and execute strategies to grow customer partnerships.

•Conduct customer meetings, site visits, and industry networking activities.

•Understand customer requirements and provide tailored equipment solutions.

•Prepare and negotiate quotes, pricing, contracts.

•Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customers receive outstanding service.

• Identify market trends and opportunities to support continued growth in the role.

• Proven experience in B2B business development, or account management.

• Strong business development skills with a results-driven mindset.

• Excellent relationship-building, communication, and negotiation abilities.

• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented culture.

• Strong commercial understanding and confidence dealing with customers over the phone or face to face.

• A proactive, resilient, and target-focused approach to sales.

Experience within materials handling the industrial, equipment, or materials handling sector would be highly regarded, however we are open to candidates with strong B2B sales experience.
