🚀 The Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Service Manager to lead our Electrical Services division and drive exceptional service delivery across fire detection systems, EWIS, emergency and exit lighting, repairs, and upgrades.
Reporting to the Services Operations Manager, you’ll lead a team of electricians and technicians, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards while building strong client relationships and supporting the continued growth of the business.
🛠️ What You’ll Be Doing
Leadership & Service Delivery
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of electricians and service technicians.
- Oversee electrical service, maintenance, repairs, fault-finding, and upgrade works.
- Provide technical guidance and ensure high-quality workmanship across all jobs.
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Operations & Client Management
- Coordinate with scheduling, quoting, and administration teams to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Manage urgent call-outs, compliance works, and defect rectifications.
- Build strong relationships with clients and act as the key contact for technical service matters.
- Support quoting, reporting, and operational performance across the division.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all work complies with Australian Standards, WHS requirements, and company procedures.
- Conduct site audits and maintain quality assurance across service operations.
- Drive continuous improvement through reporting, process optimisation, and team development.
🎯 What You Bring
You’ll bring:
- Current NSW Electrical Licence (or equivalent).
- Extensive experience within the fire protection service and maintenance industry.
- Proven leadership experience managing electricians or field service teams.
- Strong technical knowledge of fire detection systems, EWIS, emergency and exit lighting.
- Sound understanding of Australian Standards and regulatory requirements.
- Experience using field service software such as Uptick (highly regarded).
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive leadership style with a strong focus on safety, quality, and customer service.
