Our organisation is growing increasingly fast, and we are currently seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and highly driven Business Development Specialist to join our successful sales team.

For this role we are seeking a commercially astute, technically grounded BDM who is at home in heavy industrial environments and passionate about resolving complex mechanical issues for clients. In this role, you will lead the growth strategy across NSW, driving new market acquisition while deepening relationships with established accounts.

The position is based from our Beresfield branch and is a full-time permanent position. The role offers some excellent benefits including

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and Develop New Business Opportunities: Proactively seek out and build relationships with potential customers.
  • Maintain and Grow Existing Accounts: Provide outstanding customer service and build long-term partnerships.
  • Product Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of our products to effectively address customer needs.
  • Sales Targets: Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Quoting and Pricing: Prepare and present competitive quotations to customers.
  • Market Insights: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and customer demands.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

ABOUT YOU

  • Have proven sales experience within the mining industry, ideally with mechanical knowledge of mobile equipment.
  • Familiarity with hydraulic hose & fittings is highly desirable.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • A results-driven individual with a proactive approach to sales.
  • Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.
