What you will be doing & delivering: 

Based at our Warragul site, this hands-on technical role focuses on supporting and developing Flavorite’s in-house Flavorfind platform, our internal workforce timekeeping and operational hardware system. You’ll work across hardware repair, embedded systems development, technical support, and continuous improvement initiatives, with opportunities to expand further into software development over time. 

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain Flavorfind hardware systems to ensure reliable day-to-day operation across Flavorite sites.  
  • Support the rollout, installation, and commissioning of new hardware alongside maintenance and site teams.  
  • Design and develop new electronic hardware solutions, including embedded circuit design and firmware development.  
  • Troubleshoot hardware, firmware, and networking issues and provide technical support to internal teams as required.  
  • Perform testing and validation of new hardware and firmware releases prior to deployment.  
  • Maintain clear and accurate technical documentation, schematics, configurations, and repair records.  
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement and standardisation of Flavorfind hardware, firmware, and support processes across the business.  
  • Over time, contribute to the development and support of our C#/.NET desktop applications that integrate with the Flavorfind platform.

Highly organised and detail-oriented, you know how to prioritise what matters most and you thrive when working with others to deliver reliable, high-quality technical outcomes. 

What will help you succeed: 

  • Relevant Tertiary qualifications (Electronic Engineering/ Mechatronics Engineering) and/or demonstrated practical experience   
  • Soldering/PCB repair experience (3-5 years)   
  • Electronics repair/diagnosis (2-3 years)   
  • Embedded electronic circuit design experience (2-3 years)   
  • Microcontroller programming experience (3-5 years)   
  • Computer networking knowledge    
  • C experience (3-5 years)   
  • C# / .NET experience (2-3 years)    
  • Linux/bash experience (2-3 years)   
  • Basic SQL knowledge   
  • MATLAB experience
