What you will be doing and delivering  

As Chief Financial Officer, you will operate at the intersection of strategy and execution -shaping the future direction of the business while remaining closely connected to day-to-day performance and operational realities. 

 

A key member of the Executive Team, you will act as a trusted commercial partner to the CEO and business leaders, translating strategy into actionable plans, driving financial discipline, and enabling sustainable growth. This is a hands-on leadership role where your impact will be felt not only in long-term planning, but in the decisions made across the business every day. 

 

You will lead and deliver across several critical areas: 

  • Financial Strategy & Executive Leadership – Contribute to company strategy, providing clear financial insight, scenario modelling, and decision support to drive profitability and growth 
  • Company Secretarial – Oversee governance obligations, Board processes, and corporate compliance, ensuring integrity and transparency at all levels 
  • Financial Governance, Compliance & Risk – Maintain robust financial controls, manage risk frameworks, and ensure compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements 
  • Treasury, Cash Flow & Capital Management – Optimise cash flow, funding structures, and capital allocation to support operational needs and strategic investments 
  • Commercial Performance & Operational Support – Partner with operational leaders to drive performance, improve margins, and embed financial accountability across the business 
  • People Leadership & Team Development – Build, lead and develop a high-performing finance team, enhancing capability, engagement, and a culture of ownership 
  • Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement – Champion efficiency, systems improvement, and scalable processes to support a growing and evolving organisation 
  • Health, Safety & Wellbeing – Lead by example in promoting a safe, compliant, and supportive workplace environment 

 

This role is ideal for a CFO who thrives on influencing at a strategic level while staying close enough to operations to make a tangible, day-to-day impact. 

 

What you will bring to the role: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, including an Accounting Major. 
  • Professional certification such as CA or CPA (Australia)  
  • Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role (CFO, Finance Director, or equivalent). 
  • Demonstrated experience operating at Executive and/or Board level, including preparation and presentation of financial insights and recommendations 
  • Proven track record across financial strategy, governance, compliance, and risk management 
  • Advanced financial and commercial acumen, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights  
  • High-level proficiency in financial modelling, analysis, and reporting (advanced MS Excel, use of systems such as SAP etc)  
  • Highly developed communication skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and build rapport across all levels of the organisation  
  • Proven capability to lead in dynamic environments, prioritise effectively, and drive outcomes.
