Hi there! We’re Five Good Friends, an approved aged care and NDIS service provider. We help our Members (others call them clients) live vibrantly in their own homes by wrapping a care team around them and their families. Our innovative software coordinates in the background so our teams can focus on what matters most—delivering exceptional care.
We’re proud to be a place where purpose meets impact. Every day, our work contributes to helping people live their best lives, and that starts with our people.
As we grow to meet increasing demand—over 30,000 home visits a month—we’re investing in our workforce like never before. That’s where you come in.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Workforce Coordinator to join our Aged Care & Quality Team.
You’ll play a key role in matching Helpers (others call them carers) with Members, supporting rostering, recruitment, compliance, and workforce planning. You’ll work closely with our Care Team Leaders, helper capability team, and Helper Recruitment teams to ensure our workforce is skilled, supported, and ready to deliver exceptional care.
What You’ll Do
- Helper Matching & Rostering: Identify and match Helpers to Members based on preferences, skills, and availability. Create and maintain rosters, coordinate meet-and-greets, and ensure smooth onboarding.
- Workforce Planning: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure workforce capacity meets Member needs. Engage in proactive recruitment and planning.
- Compliance & Quality: Ensure all Helper matches meet Aged Care requirements. Respond to incidents and feedback in line with policy.
- Helper Engagement: Be a friendly, responsive point of contact for Helpers. Support them with app queries and foster a positive experience.
- Team Collaboration: Participate in care team meetings, share insights, and support your teammates when needed.
About You
You’re organised, tech-savvy, and passionate about making a difference. You thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy building relationships across remote teams.
You’ll bring:
- Experience in rostering (ideally in aged care, disability, or health)
- Knowledge of Aged Care and NDIS workforce requirements (or willingness to learn)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A friendly, professional approach and a genuine interest in supporting vulnerable communities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with remote colleagues
- High IT literacy and confidence using multiple systems
- The successful candidate will be required to complete a National Police Check paid for by the company. Additional State based checks may also be required.
Bonus points for:

- Qualifications in HR, Community Services, or Health Sciences
