About the Role

This permanent, full-time role of Helper Supply Team Leader reports to the Head of Care Operations and contributes to the success and growth of Five Good Friends. This position plays a critical role in the team, ensuring our organisation has access to the right talent and skills within the market. This position focuses on developing and implementing strategies to source, attract, and onboard qualified candidates (and relevant compliance required) to meet current and future business needs.

This role will work with Care teams, Marketing and the Operations Analyst to identify and meet member demand for helpers in both skill and capacity.

The role also encompasses reporting and analytics on talent, as well as special talent-related continuous improvement projects.

The core responsibilities of the role include:

Lead the development and execution of comprehensive talent acquisition plans, encompassing various sourcing channels (job boards, general & targeted marketing, etc.)
Effectively lead and manage the team of Talent Acquisition, Onboarding & Compliance specialists, creating a culture of performance in line with our culture and values
Work with care teams, marketing, and operations analysts to identify and meet member demand for helpers in terms of both skill and capacity.
Oversee the recruitment process for Helpers and develop/improve the tools and processes for screening resumes, conducting interviews, reviewing compliance requirements, and making hiring recommendations.
Ensure cost-effectiveness of processes, tools and alignment with recruitment goals.
Oversee the onboarding process of helpers to ensure compliance and a strong introduction to Five Good Friends.
Work with your team, L&D, Marketing, IT, and Community Coaches to ensure an excellent Candidate experience.
Stay abreast of industry best practices in talent acquisition and implement innovative solutions to improve recruitment processes, leveraging data analytics whenever possible.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including Care, Best Friend Helper, L&D and Quality Teams.
Ensure your team has the skills, training, and development they need to be effective in their roles.
Conduct 1:1s, team meetings, and supporting cyclical activities such as appraisals, surveys, and salary reviews.
Maintain a positive and productive working environment for your team.
Participate in relevant meetings and stakeholder engagement as required.

Do you have what it takes?

A bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field is advantageous but not essential.
Minimum five (5) years of experience in talent acquisition or a related field.
Proven track record of developing and implementing successful recruitment strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
Proficiency in applicant tracking systems.
Knowledge of employment laws relevant to recruitment and compliance regulations.
Experience with diversity and inclusive recruiting practices.
Enjoys working within a team environment.
