Description

We require an experienced Fire Alarm Technician / Electrician for Essential Fire Service Installations and Repairs on a full-time basis.

As a Fire Alarm Technician, your responsibilities include the installation of fire detection and alarm systems, fault finding and repair of dry fire systems, system programming and commissioning, emergency lighting installation and maintenance, and the delivery of general servicing and preventative maintenance.

Experience in Exit/Emergency Lighting installation & repairs
Working knowledge of the Australian Standards AS1670.1
To be willing to work hard and be part of a successful team
To be able to work autonomously
To be able to communicate and liaise with customers and fellow employees in a professional manner
To be able to stay away overnight as required
To be able to travel our large portfolio on a daily basis

To hold a current:

Electrical Licence
Cabling Licence
NSW Drivers Licence
EWP/Working at Heights Licence
Construction / White Card
Police Criminal Check
Working With Children Check

A fully equipped and maintained company vehicle is provided as well as uniforms & phone for company use.

Must reside in the Illawarra Region, travel will be required within the role.
